At first, I thought from the comments that nobody was interested. Then I checked the email linked to this account. The comments did not disappoint. They gave me some topics to research and a little warning.
📝”Ella, I saw your post about Atlantic Park. Most people think it’s just a name, but you’re right to look closer. Did you know the local records from the 1800s don’t call it ‘Atlantic’? They call it Atlas-Land. Someone changed the spelling to make it sound more ‘normal’ to outsiders. You aren’t just seeing things—you’re unearthing things. Be careful how deep you dig into the etymology.”
📝I was near the clearing three months ago. I didn’t see a UFO, but I found something interesting in a section of grass at the same park. It wasn’t burned. It was crystallized. Like the moisture had been instantly pulled out of the air. You asked how they knew she was there? My theory is they didn’t ‘find’ her. She was waiting. If you go back, look for the geode fragments in the dirt. Some will glow. So it’s better if you’re there closer to sunset or pre-dawn. They’ll be in a pattern.
📝”You mentioned the ‘superhumans’ being in plain sight. You’re closer than you think. People keep looking for a ‘monster’ in the woods, but what if they just look like us? I have a theory that the ‘other lady’ you saw wasn’t being abducted—she was being taken home. Some of us have been left here a long time. Keep your camera ready, but maybe keep the lens cap on if you see the lights again. They can track the digital signature.”
📝”That line about ‘resurrecting a memory’ hit me hard. I have dreams about a city of red metal—that ‘lost metal’ you might have heard of. Every time I visit Atlantic Park, the dreams get clearer. I think that clearing is a ‘thin place’ where the two worlds overlap. Don’t post this on the blog, but I think the UFOs are just the ferrymen. The real story is what’s under the park.”

📝”You were looking for dryads and moss people, but you found a tractor beam instead. Don’t be disappointed. They’re the same thing. One is how we described them 1,000 years ago; the other is how we describe them now. Different tech, same neighbors. Check the ‘dryad’ image you posted against the silhouette of the woman in the beam. Look at the ears. You caught more than you realized.”
I returned to the park to look for the geodes the Paranormal Archeologist mentioned, but didn’t find anything. So I’m including a view of one of the park’s paths to pay that social media real estate tax. LOL
My next trip will be to the library to learn the history of the park’s name. I’ll report back the results. Hopefully, it will have more information.
P.S. To the one person who managed to subscribe to my ‘hidden’ post before I even finished the draft… I see you. I don’t know how you got past the encryption, but I hope you’re friendly.
